    We require details about your relevant knowledge, experience, and level of understanding about derivatives of the type offered for regulatory purposes (including to enable us to assess whether the derivative is suitable for you) and to help us support you with your trading.

    We strongly advise you to provide us with the requested information, as we believe it is necessary to enable us to assess suitability.

    If we are not satisfied that you have the ability to understand these particular types of derivative and the risks involved, we cannot accept you as a client.

    If you elect not to provide information to enable us to assess suitability, or you provide insufficient information, you should be aware that:

    • we are required to request information from you in order to assess whether the derivative is suitable for you; and
    • without this information there is a strong risk we will not be able to assess whether you have the necessary ability to understand the derivative and the risks involved.

  • Features and Risks

  • Trading FX Contracts and CFDs on margin is different from other types of financial investments. Please acknowledge you are aware of the following features and risks:

    • You do not own or have rights in the underlying assets.
    • You could lose substantially more than your initial deposit or margin payment and you may have to make further payments.
    • Volatility and market liquidity means that market circumstances may impact on pricing and on our ability to offer prices and execute orders.
    • CFDs are traded on an online platform, this means you need to be familiar with the online trading platform and the risks associated with technical failures.
    • It is your responsibility to monitor your CFD positions, meet minimum margin requirements and manage your risks using tools such as stop loss orders.

  • Declaration and Client Acknowledgements

  • GPP Markets Documents

    The following documents make up the “GPP Markets Documents”. It is important that you have read and understood the contents:

    • Product Disclosure Statement
    • Client Agreement
    • Product Schedules

    By signing and submitting this application to GPP Markets Limited you declare to, and agree with, GPP Markets that:

    1. You have received, read and understood the PDS and client agreement provided by GPP Markets (together ‘GPP Markets Documents’).
    2. After considering your financial position and financial objectives, having obtained appropriate and sufficient financial and/or legal advice or have elected not to obtain advice, you have concluded that you wish to proceed with the application.
    3. If GPP Markets accepts your application, the GPP Markets Documents, plus the terms of each CFD entered into between you and GPP Markets (and any other relevant written agreement between the parties from time to time) constitute a contract between you and GPP Markets and this contract will contain the terms of the agreement on which GPP Markets agrees to enter into trades with you.
    4. You are aware that other information relating to GPP Markets and CFDs are available on the GPP Markets online register entry at www.companiesoffice.govt.nz/disclose.
    5. The information contained in this application and the representations, warranties, assurances, and undertakings set out in the client agreement are true and correct.
    6. You will provide GPP Markets with any information it requires from time to time in order to discharge its legal obligations, and you will notify GPP Markets if the information contained in this application (including your contact details) or provided to GPP Markets materially changes or ceases to be correct.
    7. GPP Markets may contact you and provide you with information by email and other electronic forms of communication, as set out in the GPP Markets Documents.
    8. GPP Markets may transfer from your Trading Account moneys to be used for ‘authorised hedging activities’ in accordance with the GPP Markets Documents. You will not receive interest on amounts held in your Trading Account, and GPP Markets is entitled to retain any such interest.
    9. You are authorised to trade all GPP Markets’ products as outlined in the GPP Markets Documents.
    10. You have given consideration to your objectives, financial situation and needs, and the significant risks of loss which accompany the prospects of profit associated with dealing in GPP Markets’ products, and you have formed the opinion that dealing in GPP Markets’ products is suitable for your circumstances and purposes.
    11. You are willing and able to accept the terms and conditions of the contract referred to in 2. above and to assume (financially and otherwise) the associated risks. You acknowledge your responsibility for monitoring and managing the risks of trading.
    12. GPP Markets has the right to close out your positions or restrict your activities in the situations outlined in the GPP Markets Documents.
    13. You authorise GPP Markets to disclose information relating to you to the Financial Markets Authority as may be required from time to time under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 or any other law.
    14. GPP Markets may vary, update or replace the GPP Markets Documents at any time, and will notify you of such changes by posting a notice and/or supplementary or new GPP Markets Documents on GPP Markets’ website or by email. We will notify you directly when we vary, update or replace the GPP Markets Documents if we are required to do so by law.
    15. You acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with GPP Markets’ Privacy Policy and you consent to GPP Markets collecting, maintaining, using and disclosing personal information about you and provided by you or by another person in accordance with that Privacy Policy.
    16. You agree that GPP Markets may pass certain information provided by you to Verifi Identity Services and/or GBG for the purpose of electronically verifying your identity and residential address. Verifi Identity Services and/or GBG will provide us with information about you which will be retained by Verifi Identity Services and/or GBG. We do not take into account your credit score when processing your application.
    17. GPP Markets can contact you by email or phone in connection with your application to ensure that you are aware of all the services available to you or for other marketing purposes. You understand that you can opt out of education and marketing communications at any time after your application has been submitted.

Fees & Charges

GPP Markets aims to offer competitive spreads to its clients. We retain the right to amend the spread for any reason. Fees and charges may change from time to time.

Spreads

The spread is determined (based on prevailing market conditions) and payable when you enter into a contract and when you close it. For more detailed spread information, please refer to the product specifications which are available on the online platform or from our website.

Withdrawals

Electronic Transfer is free to a NZ bank account in NZD. A Non-NZD account will be charged a fee of $20.00 USD.

Deposits

There is no fee when you make deposits via USD Telegraphic Transfer. Credit Cards incur a fee of 3% of the total deposit value.

Inactivity

A monthly inactivity fee may be charged on accounts where there has been no activity on an account for more than six months and the account balance is below $100.
